-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upstream kids is a high
energy gathering for kids of all ages. They
play games, sing and experience interactive
lessons that will motivate them to live
contagiously for Jesus. We have done, and
will continue to do, everything in our power
to make this the safest and funnest
environment that your kids could be in. We
have strategically sectioned off the hallway
so that only those with kids inside can get
through. When you check your child(ren)
into Upstream Kids you will be given a tag
that is absolutely vital for you to pick up
your child. This is a security measure that
will keep you and us assured that your child
is only being picked up by the parent that
dropped them off in the first place.
We also require all of the workers in
Upstream to have a criminal record check
done. We understand the dangers of weak
security and we want to do everything we can
to help you relax and make this the most
exciting hour of your childs’ week!
The themes of the gatherings will typically
be the same as the themse of the adult
gathering but will be taught in an easy to
understand way and will be more applicable
to their lives as kids. They meet down the
right wing of SilverCity and to foster the
best atmosphere for growth, we’ve divided
them into age appropriate categories:
Check-In begins @ 9:10am down the right
wing.
Mother’s Room
This is located in the Party Room down the
left wing. It’s a room that is solely
dedicated to Mother’s with nursing infants.
We’ve made it a private room that is free
of disruptions.
Nursery (Baby’s and toddlers aged 1-3 )
This room is located down the right wing in
one of the Party Rooms. There will be toys,
snacks and the occasional cartoon.
Pre-school & Elementary
(Kids aged 4-11)
Located down the right wing. Kids at this level will be fully challenged
to start living contagious lives for Jesus. We are using a curriculum called Elevate that is video based. It's loaded with energy, highly interactive and most importantly, it communicates at a level that kids will walk away completely understanding what they were taught.
